Your old Macs will make a school very happy. If you don't donate it to us, look around for a local school.

I teach at St. Helens HS in St. Helens, Oregon, (30 miles north of Portland) and we take in old PowerBooks for student use on our publications and other items. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and we provide high-end donation receipts for the equipment from values posted on everymac.com and powerbookguy.com. The donation amount is usually two to three times more than what you can sell the equipment for. We also include shipping in the receipt. Donations are fully tax deductible if you itemize your taxes using Schedule A.

Thank you for the URLs. I was able to add our school to one database. I have been most successful with everyday Mac users donating to our school. I have had nine laptops donated to us in the past year from repsonses from Mac forum sites.
