Let me tell you what he's going to buy with that money! A Power Macintosh G4 Digital Audio system. It'll have 2 PowerPC 7410 (G4) 533MHz processors! Between 128 - 512 PC133MHz SDRAM. 2x40 gigabyte hard drives or one 60 gig HD. All 7200 RPM ATA/66! Likely an Apple Studio Display ADC CRT. Not only that but with an AirPort card, Zip 250 drive, DVD-ROM drive instead of CD-RW because he has an external 12x10x32 (at least), nVidia GeForce3 with 64 megabytes of DDR in a 4x AGP slot, 56k modem, Apple Pro speakers, Apple Pro keyboard, Mac OS X client and Mac OS 9.1!
