The 128MB memory stick is from my G4 Cube. My Cube is 3 months old which means this memory stick is also 3 months old. This memory is in PERFECT LIKE-NEW condition. It is AUTHENTIC memory from Apple GUARANTEED! Apple sells this stick for $200. I am offering it here for $100. Serious inquiries, please email equan@mac.com. If potential buyer is from NYC, I am more than willing to meet personally.

Why would anyone buy a 128 MB card when you can get a guaranteed 256 MB card for a Cube from RamJet (new) for the same price? Apple gouges with RAM prices, and you can probably get about $40-50 for it used.

Dude. If you want to buy it, email me. If not, then just keep quiet. I'm selling this memory for HALF of what I paid. Maybe there's someone out there who wants or needs this memory from Apple, maybe not. Either way, you obviously have nothing better to do than to reply in the Buy/Sell forum. I didn't attempt to rip anyone off. Compared to Apple's prices, my asking price is a steal. If I don't get any buyers, I don't sweat it, so why do you sweat my post? Do you tell one grocery store that the other store down the block sells milk cheaper?

In other words eddie's trying to apply the principle that there's a sucker born every minute so we should all keep quiet so he can hunt him or her down and take them
.
Doesn't work that way, eddie - that's whats so cool about these bulletin boards.

No, Eddie. I chuckle at the more expensive store and then buy my product cheaper at another, regardless of the product.

And truly, there is no difference between "Apple" RAM and RamJet RAM. Maybe different manufacturers, but thats about it. Apple buys its RAM from Micron if I remember correctly. So find a place that sells Micron RAM and grab their stuff.

I know, but there is a difference between the cheapest RAM and the RAM that certain sellers, like RAMjet and Crucial, sell online. Look in the PowerBook forum about the new FirmWare not working with low-quality RAM.

Eddie, check out Cruicial for "authentic" Apple RAM. They are Apple's OEM supplier for RAM, and oh, let's see....128MB is going for a tad under $50!. And for $81 one can get 256MB PC100 CL=2 RAM. That's the same RAM that comes in powermacs. Authentic. Guaranteed. Built to last.

Oh my goodness! TELL ME you guys have SOMETHING better to do than to criticize a forum post! I made a simple offer and never attempted a sales pitch afterwards to any member! My post seems to have generated more responses than other posts which are far more worth replying to! I want each and everyone one of you who replied to my post with price quotes to 1) stand up from your chair, 2) take a DEEP breath, 3) get OUT of your house and 4) hug the closest tree. After all those steps have been completed, you will no longer be a DORK!

Is the RAM 3-2-2 or 2-2-2? Apple specs 3-2-2 as their OEM RAM, but I don't know if they move up to he higher-quality 2-2-2 for aftermarket sales.

Of note to the prospective buyer... Apple RAM only carries a 1-year warranty, versus the lifetime warranty that just about every other company offers.

Mish - Finally, a voice of reason!

And, as the recent firmware update debacle has shown - all memory is not the same!

Note to eddie os x: Apple's "authentic" RAM is only as authentic as the paper sticker they put on it. I recommend using ebay.com to try to sell you pricey RAM.

The point here Eddie, is that some of us give a rip about jerks like you trying to hose some poor sucker. Go back to the trailer park, dude. Some of us have ethics.

"Authentic" - as if apple made it out of pure golden delicious apples out in cuppertino? Yah right - If you take a look at the chip I would be surprised if you don't see a manufacturer's name printed on it somewhere. My Pismo's "authentic" ram was made by Hitachi..
