No matter what you do with your Mac, check out pricewatch.com before you buy anything. They have very good prices, as of 5/25/00 a 61.4 GB IDE HD was $277.00!

I think the best strategy is:
check ebay
check pricewatch
check pricepulse

Remember to account for shipping.
Pricewatch may price something amazingly low, and leave you to find out they charged too much for shipping. Like they may charge $12-15 to ship a single stick of RAM.
