What is one of these worth? I'm planning on offering it with my G4-upgraded Yosemite when it hits the auction block some time in the future, but if its worth $250 I might sell it now. It's the original processor from by Blue & White G3, an aluminium 450 MHz, which is supposedly more stable than the copper ones. I never had a problem with it but I lusted for the speed of the G4 with AltiVec for my Photoshop work. I went with Sonnet's Encore G4 500 MHz and am thrilled with it. But an extra processor might be worth something to somebody and I certainly have no use for it.

Yo Rambo...is it possible for this card to be plugged into some sort of an adapter to make it work in an old 8500? I've been looking for a cheap processor upgrade and was just wonderng if this might work.
Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?

The ZIF processors can be used in earlier PowerMacs, such as the 8500, that had their processors on daughtercards by using a PCI-ZIF carrier card. XLR8 makes such a card. The 8500
