I am looking to trade my brand new iMac G4 800 DVDRW/CDRW flat panel for an iMac 500 CDRW or greater (snow) and an iBook 500 any drive (snow). My iMac G4 is the top of the line factory spec. model, e-mail for more info. No dead pixels, no cosmetic or mechanical problems, no problems at all, just would like to trade for an iMac and iBook. If you are lucky enough to have what I am looking to trade for please let me know at brijack@mac.com and we can hopefully work something out!

This has to be the most interesting trade I have seen yet, I can’t figure which person would get the better deal. But somehow I have to lean towards the guy who gets two computers over one because the laptop has more versatility...

but good luck!

hmm. costwise i would guess its a pretty good trade on the imac/ibook side. the machines he wants to trade for you could probably find for around 1600 or so and that imac sells for 1800 i think?

I am glad for the responses that have been posted, I think it would be a pretty even trade, I just wish someone who had the items would be willing to do it. If you know of anybody that does let them know of my post. Thanks!

How much do these go for on eBay, or the like? Checking http://www.smalldog.com/, you could get a Snow iMac for 879 or so (there are a few configs), and an iceBook for Under 1000... a trade would probably be a better deal for you, but given that it's a rare person who has both those machines and is willing to trade for one iMac, you might just try selling yours.

Good luck!

I will consider selling on e-bay, but if anybody wants to still e-mail me, please do so!
