Hey everybody -

The long wait for my pretty new iMac has given me lots of time to reconsider which machine I needed... and finally, I decided that I really needed the expansion capabilities of a G4 PowerMac Tower.

But this morning when I called to change my order from the FP iMac to the PowerMac... I found out today they've already shipped little Luxo!!!

So here's where you come in:

I'm considering putting up my new (and arriving in 2 days) iMac for sale or trade. The package costs $2100 total, so I'd like to either recover the costs or perhaps trade for a speedy tower (though I'm somehow doubting anybody might trade for that).

If anybody's interested, feel free to email me. I haven't completely made a decision as if I will sell it, but any thoughts or possibilities on the matter would be of great assistance!

Thanks!

The iMac G4 is an amazing machine. Exactly what kind of "Expandability" do you need? Do you need to add (honestly) PCI cards? You can always add external firewire hard drives. Plus, you're getting an amazing 15" screen....why did you want to sell it again?
Am I still here?

Maybe he wants:

- better performance (133 MHz bus)

- a faster hard drive

- a better video card

- more room fo RAM

- room for a couple of hard drives (FW drives kind of kill the all-in-one look)

- ability to use a larger display

Just a few thoughts...

(that's why I changed my order too)
