I was just about to list this PowerBook on eBay:

PowerBook G3 WallStreet

292 MHz G3 Processor 83 MHz System Bus

13.3" XGA TFT Color Screen 8 GB Hard Drive

Combo 20X CD-ROM/DVD-ROM Drive with Decoder Card

192 MB RAM OS 8.5.1

All original manuals and software, original box.

•••••••••••••••••••

The following software is on the hard drive and is for evaluation purposes
only, yadda yadda yadda. You know the drill. The responsibility to delete
any software for which you do not have a license is yours.

Adobe Acrobat 4.0
Adobe PhotoDeluxe 1.1
Adobe Photoshop 5.0.3
AppleWorks 5.0.3
Claris Organizer 2.0 v2
FAXstf 5.0.5
JPEG View 3.3.1
Microsoft Office 98
- Excel 8.0
- PowerPoint 8.0
- Word 8.0
TechTool Pro 2.5.1
Quick Time Pro 4.0.3
Netscape Communicator 4.7

My reserve is $2100. Steep, I know, but between the extra RAM, DVD, and Software I think I'll get it. No dead pixels, no damage of any kind. I used this baby as a desktop computer for about 6 months before I got a second one. The one I'm keeping has the 14.1" screen but is not as imaculate as this one. Please give me a shout by Friday one way or the other. Friday night I'll list it on eBay if I don't hear from you.
Best,
Bob

If memory serves, Dakkon did actually buy it from me. I can't recall the price, but I think it was about $1600 or so.

Don't you think I could get $2100 now for a used Wall Street? If I'd only seen this earlier I would have offered a price drop, maybe down to $2050. Hehehe.

Hi I need to sell my Wallstreet Powerbook G3
Here are the specs:
• 233Mhz G3
• 288MB of ram (32lower 256upper slot)
• 20GB hard drive - upgraded from the org 2gb
• orinoco wireless 802.11b airport card
• Macally 2port USB PCMCIA card
• iRez Video CapSure PCMCIA card
• 20x CD rom
• OS 9
• battery gets about 1hour to an 1:15

Everything is working great! The laptop is missing the 2 PCMCIA flip doors, but this DOES NOT effect the computer in any way.

Reason for selling: upgrading to an iBook, just became an admin for a bunch of ibooks

Asking $400
Pictures can be seen here: http://www.tincs.com/powerbook

Thanks,
Dave Pascarella
