I'm looking for a nice video capture card that can capture full-frame, full-motion (640x480 @ 30fps) video from s-video or composite. Used is OK, as long as it's working. I can spend no more than about $150.

Even better if the card can output video, too!

I have a Miro DC30 video card that I bought for $350 that I'm interested in selling. $150 is a little lower than I was looking for, but I'd be willing to discuss some kind of deal if you're interested. (composite and s-video in and out as well as audio, does full screen NTSC at 30 fps)

I live near Cherry Hill, NJ, so an added benefit is that I could probably give you a chance to test the card out and make sure it works in your system.

I have an Avid Cinema Card. I used it in my 6500. It's compatable with many other models as well.

It can capture at 30fps in M-JPEG format and the quality looks great. The card does some sort of rendering to the image to make it look very smooth and nice. Much better quality than regually M-Jpeg quality powered by an ATI card.

The card would come with Avid Cinema Software but you can use the card in Permiere or any other program, because M-Jpeg is a quicktime codec.

It's just sitting in the box now because I have a new iMac DVSE now.

I'd be will to sell it for $60. (It was a $450 option for my Mac 3 years ago.)

What model Mac are you using? If it's a NuBus Powermac, I've got a Targa 2000 (EXCELLENT analog video editing card w/ S-video I/O) I might be able to sell you.
