My Beige G3's motherboard recently died due to a screwdriver accident. I don't have the $400 to buy one at a parts reseller (and besides, $400 is an exhorbitant amount!). Does anyone have a working motherboard? I don't need anything else except the board.

Try eBay. Go to Apple and search for motherboard . They currently have 91 of em for sale for various models.
