Hey everyone, I am thinking of getting rid of my windows machine in leu of another mac. Here are the specs.

AMD Athlon 1800XP
MSI K7T266 Pro2 Motherboard
512mb Corsair Ram
24x Lite On CDRW
12X Samsung DVD
Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer
10/100 NIC
PNY GeForce 3 Ti 500
IBM Deskstar 30gb (7200 RPM)
All in a black Alienware Hydraulic Case.

If anyone is interested, I'm hoping to trade for a G4, or maybe a new iBook laptop.

email is anim8ing@mac.com

Also, If the trade would be for a laptop I have a 21" Trinitron monitor to add to the deal.

Thanks,
Anim8ing

Oh yeah, forgot about the keyboard, and mouse. Microsoft Internet Keyboard Pro, and Intellimouse Optical.

Cheers

I have an iBook 500MHz lying around here. 12" screen at 1024 X 786, 10 GB hard drive, CD-RW. I'd trade that, but I'm thinking of building an Athlon box myself, otherwise I'd be more interested. Not Ti Book interested, but definitely iBook+.

Rambo, If you are planning on building an Athlon box, I wish you well. It's fairly expensive to build a machine with the same parts that I have in mine now. Here is a price list:

MSI Motherboard - 135.00
Athlon 1800XP - 220.00
Corsair DDR Ram - 225.00 (2x256)
Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer - 100.00
PNY GeForce 3 Ti 500 - 250.00
Lite On 24x10x40 CDRW - 100.00
Samsung 12x DVD Rom - 75.00

And of course I have the 21" Trinitron that retails for about 4-500

Total Cost = 1105.00 w/o Monitor

If you are lucky you can get a PB G4 From ebay for about 1200.00..I know because a friend just picked one up.

I've put my machine on eBay, and there's about 3 days left on it, If anyone is interested in trading, let me know and I'll end the auction. I really don't know what I can get mac-wise out of this machine, It's great for anything that a PC user wants to do. I just want to get into graphic design, and the mac is where it's at. email me at anim8ing@mac.com

Thanks,
Anim8r
