I am currently running on a G3 All In One 266 with 384 Megs of Ram and a 40 gig internal IDE hard drive. Its got alot of software and my cd collection archived, I can keep this on if you want to demo stuff. otherwise A nice clean Install I can do. I am going to have to sell this machine as soon as my new iMac 700 finally ships (does anyone know when?) Anyways. It also has a USB card installed. I have a nice Kodak DC-50 Zoom Digital Camera to go with it as well. And I can also dig up my old 2X SCSI burner. What do you all think this is worth? I know its a heavy fool to ship. but its an excellent machine. give me your feedback..i need the money to go towards my iMac otherwis ei wodulnt seel it. Its so hard to be a macaddict and a boy in college.

This is going to sound like it's not much, but it is worth around $600 (including camera and burner). You can get a new iMac 500Mhz with CD-RW, FireWire, USB + a one year waranty from from the Apple store for around $750... and a new sony 3 megapixle camera is around $200 (again with a waranty etc. etc.)

I'm trying to be realistic...

No way is it worth $500 the machine is old and the only thing it has going for itself over an original iMac is that it has PCI slots. Other than that they are nearly identical in specs.
Look at what the first rev iMacs are going for on eBay. You might get a bit more for it than you would for one of those simply because it looks cool and there aren't alot of them around because they were only sold to education customers. It's a unique and cool machine so you may be supprised at what you get for it on eBay, but don't get overly excited and think it's worth a ton.
