It is time to depart with my first PowerMac. Here are the specs.

original 603e 225 mh processor. Upgraded with Sonnet 300 mh 1024 cache processor.

1- stock 3gb internal hd, 1-2gb internal hd in expansion bay.

128 megs ram. Maxed out.

1- Apple video card. Allows for input with av-ports.

1- Farallon ethernet card

no keyboard or mouse. I might be able to find the internal 33.6 modem if requested (I used the computer with ethernet cable modem).

This computer ran great for me and has been sitting in the closet for since I got my G4 last year. Last week I started it up it and stalled during the startup. I zapped the pram and things have worked fine since then. However since the pram battery is old, I'm guessing it will need to be replaced. I'm confident that it is in good condition, but is sold with no warranty.

Price:

With the sonnet upgrade $200.

Without upgrade: $75 (note: I no longer have the 256 cache that was in the slot before the upgrade).

Buyer pays for shipping and handling via UPS. Coming from South Dakota.

The sonnet upgrade is not for sale individually. If it doesn't sell with the computer, I'm giving it to my brother. He can use it in his Performa 6360.

Well, if you are insinuating that my price is too low, then I will raise it another $100 .

The person who buys this computer will probably need to buy their own pram battery and install it themselves. I guess I consider this a drawback.

I think that people on this forum when selling their computers tend to try to get back all their money that they put into a computer system. It is very unrealistic to do this with older computers, especially with non-born G3 computers. I think my price is reasonable for both the buyer and the seller.

Let me know if you are interested.

Is that a Farallon pci ethernet or comm slot card? I'm interested but would really like to have both PCI free.

Farallon is the comm slot variety.

I had forgotten this in the original post, but you reminded me when you talked about the PCI slots. There is a belkin USB card currently in one of the PCI slots.
