Hello,
I'm considering trading my dual USB iBook for a Pismo Powerbook 500 MHz in good condition (I need the larger screen). If interested, please email me directly (email address at the bottom of this message) and let me know how bright your screen is, if there are any dead pixels, and if there are any known issues/problems with the Pismo.
Here are the full specs on my system:
*Apple iBook G3 500 MHz with 128 MB RAM, a 15 GB hard drive and CD-ROM
The iBook was registered with Apple on April 1, 2002. So, it has a little more than 10 months left on it’s original Apple warranty. During this time, an AppleCare extended warranty may be purchased.
Additional specifications include:
*12.1” active-matrix LCD screen with NO dead pixels
*Internal v.90 56K modem
*Built-in Ethernet
*One FireWire port
*Two USB ports
*VGA out port (to mirror to an external monitor)
The installed OS’s are Mac OS X 10.1.2 and Mac OS 9.2.1.
All accessories are included with the iBook except for the original box.
These include:
*Power adapter with mini-plug adapter
*Modem phone cord
*External monitor adapter
*iBook Manual
*Welcome to Mac OS X Manual
*Original CDs – Software Restore 1 and 2, Applications (AppleWorks, Nanosaur, Bugdom, Cro-Mag Rally), Mac OS X Install, Mac OS 9 Install, Apple Hardware Test for iBook
Pre-installed software (for evaluation – disks not included) include:
*Microsoft Office v.X
*Microsoft Office:Mac 2001
The iBook and all accessories are in perfect condition. The battery typically runs about 3:45 minutes before needing recharging.
