Laptop has a 266MHz G3 processor, with a 20GB harddrive, 320 MB of RAM, and 14.1 inch display. The 20GB hard drive and 320 MB of RAM are both new- hundreds of dollars were spent updating this computer this past year. I can honestly say there's very little difference between the PowerBook and my 500MHz G4 desktop. It's such a great machine- I wish I had more use for it.
I have it listed <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2030363321" target="_blank">here at ebay</a> with a bunch of pictures, if you are interested.
Thanks,
chel

Considering I paid over $2000 for it and just spent $500 upgrading it, and it comes with software that CURRENTLY retails over $1,500, it's pretty damn cheap. You couldn't buy Photoshop and Office for OSX combined for that cheap. Think about it.

According to your auction listing, you are not including the CD's for Photoshop, Office, etc. Therefore, the installed software has zero value. If you don't get a license, it's not worth anything. Therefore, I will have to agree with Fulmer.

Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?

so don't bid on it, then. I have a right to ask for what I think is fair.

sure, ask what you want. We weren't attacking your post, but just offering some legit criticism of your pricing. Back in '98 my PowerBook 292 cost $5000. In 2001 I brought the RAM up to 256 MB and upgraded to a 10 gig drive. Still, when I sold it in late 2001, it was worth afraction of what I originally paid, but even at the asking price folks weren't biting. Had to sell it for less. Computer stuff depreciates fast, and the depreciation is exponential after about 2 years. Best of luck.
