I've got two awesome Macs for sale:

Power Macintosh G3/266 minitower (beige) with:
* 196MB RAM
* 6MB VRAM internal video upgrade
* ATI Rage 128 video card
* Keyspan USB PCI card (2 USB ports)
* Internal 6GB IDE HD
* Internal 2GB SCSI HD (Quantum)
* Internal Zip drive
* Internal 24x CD-ROM
* Sony 17" display
* Apple keyboard & mouse
* Original box, manuals and disks

An awesome system for $1400. It's got everything and can capture and edit video from various video cameras since it has RCA style in and out jacks. Plus it's got two video cards to make things extra fun.

Tangerine iBook:
* 300MHz G3 CPU
* 160MB RAM
* 3.2 GB hard disk
* 24x CD-ROM
* Original box, manuals and CD-ROM bundles

This is another great system for $1000. It's been running like a champ, the screen is great and the battery life is awesome.

The buyer pays shipping on both systems (or if the buyer is in the Boston area, they can just come pick them up). If someone wants to buy both systems, I'll do a package deal.

Please contact me directly if you're interested!

but yose, that G4 doesn't include an extra video card, extra RAM, legacy ports as well as new ports, a ZIP drive, or a monitor. I personally think it's a great deal. too bad I don't have the money.

Yose, maybe you're right. This is a really great system and runs Mac OS X beautifully (I'm using it right now). I'm lowering the price by $200 to $1200. The nice thing about this system (versus an iMac for instance) is the expandibility and the big monitor. If you want a G4 upgrade, drop one in. If you want a FireWire port, drop in a FireWire PCI card. The ATI Rage 128 video card is screaming fast (at least for me) and the array of audio and video ports makes capturing and editing digital audio and video very easy. So, the whole kit-and-kaboodle for $1200. Any takers?

The system has two video cards:

1) The internal Apple/ATI Rage II card with 6MB VRAM
2) ATI Rage 128 PCI card with 16MB VRAM

The first video card is the stock video system included with the G3, enhanced with 6MB of VRAM to activate the 3D features. The second card is a retail ATI Rage 128.

Rev A, B or C?

Unless it has 6-slots (and all the PCI voodoo that brings) - I don't see it. PC66 mhz, ATA/16? 33? Fast SCSI maybe. $100 will buy 256MB RAM.

An older G4/400 offers much more memory thruput (240MB/s vs. 60MB/s) and the newest G4's have one more PCI slot, faster PCI bus, fsb 133 instead of 100. But I don't need it.

Yosemite rev 1's are selling for $800-900. It is impossible to find rev 2's for sale.

Gregory
G3/450, 512MB RAM, Ultra Wide SCSI, IDE PCI ATA/66 w/ 2-IBM Deskstar's 30MB/s, 4 USB ports, 2 Firewire, extra Voodoo4 4500, Atlas 10k II (24-40MB/s). I KNOW I can't get what it is "worth" - I've invested $1k into it at least.

I would buy your iBook yet I can get the new key lime or the graphite for 900 bucks....so why the hell is yours so expensive?

just letting you know that you can get the others cheaper, so I wouldn't recommend you try selling it so high.

If you look at what you could get in a Yosemite G3 for $1400 you can see what a terrible deal this is.
iBook G4-1.33/768 || B&W G3-450/640 || Beige G3-G4 450/352 || Beige G3-400/256 in Classic case || Beige G3-300/256 || PB 5300cs Pictureframe 100/24
