If your computer supports PC 133 RAM, it will run faster. Otherwise, you're wasting money (and possibly damage your system).

tr - Even though the PC133 RAM is faster than the PC100 I was told that newer PowerMac G3 and G4's cannot accept PC133. I intend on getting PC133 RAM because it's faster, only $12.60 more than the PC100, offers a better upgrade path than the PC100 and most importantly it's going to be used in my new $299 Pentium III 500. If it's for your desktop G3 or G4 please get the PC100 RAM. Just to be on the safe side you may want to call Crucial.com at 1-800-336-8896 to confirm this.

Adam Silver - Do you know which newer PowerMacs support the PC133 RAM? If so would you list the models and perhaps a good resource web site?

I wrote computer, not Mac. I don't think that any Mac can handle PC133 RAM. Although I could be wrong.

I just bought 128mg PC133 for my Power Mac G4(sawtooth) and it works fine. It is running at 100mhz with no problems.

Just wondering if this P133 or P100 128MB work on a PowerMac 7500?. I'm planning to upgrade it to a Cresendo G3/300MHZ soon though. Think it would work on a G3 upgrade card as well?. 128MB for $100 is cheap and wouldn't mind spending $100 to get 128MB..hmmm..that is less then $1 for 1MB of RAM.

No. Only the Blue G3 and G4 can use PC 100 RAM.

Besides, the sale is over. The price for 128 MB of PC 100 RAM is now 115.69 (with UPS ground shipping).
