Installed software, even the system, without providing the original install disks, CDs is piracy. Thus it cannot be included as part of the sale and no monetary amount can be ascribed to said software being installed

Software has no effect on the price of that computer. The system is located on the CDs that came with the computer. The rest of the software is unlicensed backup.

When you purchase software, you don't actually buy the software. You lease it from a company. You purchase the licesne to run the software. The said software can be obtained by any means as long as you pay for a valid license. You can purchase any of the Adobe products direct from adobe on a CD for $15. That's the full retail version. However, the license for the software costs $550.

Regardless of how and where the software is located, as long as it is NOT licensed to any particular individual, it is not piracy. You are, by law, allowed 1 backup of the softare on any media. If you do not own the software you are privlaged to a 24 hour trial period, upon which you must remove the software after evaluation.

Try reading the license agreement for a change.

why would you want to make a personal backup of your software on a computer that you're sending to someone else? what an odd method of saving your data. if the software isn't included as part of the price, and the legal use of the software isn't included, why would you list the titles alongside the computer's stats like they're part of a package deal?

go ahead and act indignant if you want. easier just to advertise what you're selling and not actually request getting flamed.

What part of "evaluation" did you not understand? I posted here to sell my computer, not debate morals and ethics behind software and it's location.

Holy S__T, is this really what I would have to go through to sell my systems on this forum?
Can't we all just get along?
