Will soon take delivery of a 600 Combo and am starting to wonder which one I should sell (if either). Both are upgraded. Here are the specs: What should I do? What would you do? TIA,

if those are your only other computers then I would keep the PB 2400, just in case. If you have a desktop then get rid of them both before the holiday season. By the way what model HD were you able to fit into the 500MHz ibook?

Keep the iBook.

What would sell me the 2400 for? My mom is looking for something cheap that can run her dictation software (she can't type due to disability).
New sig coming soon. Yes, it will violate the sig guidelines :p

That makes no sense. He can recoup a fair amount of his purchase cost if he sells the iBook. Plus he just said he ordered the Dual USB ibook Rev B. So why have two almost identical computers. The 2400 would be a safe machine to keep as a back up and has connections the new ibook doesn't. So it gives him more of a range of peripherals. And he would not get anywhere the price of what he paid. Sell the 2400 its in your best interests.

Mattstoton if you want a cheap laptop shop around, but dont try and convince this guy of something that doesn't benefit him at all.
