As some of you may know...my bondi Rev B iMac was hit by lightning through my cable modem. The only part that I **know** is not working is the ethernet port. We (vmarks-iMac forum moderator and I) have decided that either the motherboard or logic board were also damaged. The tendency is that it was the motherboard. Since I don't have time to fix the machine, I'm gutting it for parts. Everything that I am listing works and I guarantee not to arrive DOA. I don't like ebay and would prefer someone here to get the benefit of my Rev B's untimely demise.
 • Newer Tech 433 G4 processor daughtercard (a Motorola 7400 chip works in RevA-D iMacs)
 • GeeThree Serial Port (a true serial port that can be placed in your modem slot-great for Palm Pilots, digital cameras, etc. Works with OS9 & X)
 • Original Apple 233 G3 processor daughtercard
 • 32MB PC100 sodimm low-profile
 • 64MB PC100 sodimm low-profile
 • 128MB PC100 sodimm high-profile
 • Misc. parts...Original 13.5" CRT monitor, 56K modem, 24x cd-rom, keyboard, puck, etc

Any of this sound interesting? Especially for those Quake players with a GameWizard; <mental projection>imagine a Voodoo card AND a G4 chip in your iMac!</mental projection>

Email me, salter_t@acadmn.mercer.edu , with an offer or if you have any questions. I can take some pictures of the product(s) if you need them; I haven't yet since I'm lazy.

I've had quite a few questions regarding the Newer Tech G4 chip, so here's more information:

Original retail price of US$699.
The cpu is a Motorola 7400 on an original Apple 233 daughtercard.
To fit in a Rev A-D iMac, you simply unplug your current daughtercard and replace it with the Newer Tech one.
The RAM you currently have can be easily transferred to the new daughtercard, so there is no need to buy new RAM.
More information on the GeeThree Serial Port can be found on the GeeThree website.

To those with specific questions, I was out of town for the weekend and am working on the backlog of emails. Please have patience.
