Following some strongly worded communications between myself and Apple UK Customer Relations, they have given me a brand new iMac Special Edition (700 MHz, Graphite) as a replacement for my year old iMac which had developed several faults. :-)
I have since upgraded to a G4 though, so don't actually need this machine. Therefore I am looking to sell it for £1150 which is £150 less than the UK SRP of around £1300.
In case any clarification is needed, I received this machine from Apple UK less than a week ago and it is currently sitting in my hall in its box unopened waiting to be sold to a loving new owner. :-)
The iMac Special Edition, in case you need reminding, has a 700 MHz G3 processor, 256 MB of RAM, a 60 GB hard disk and an internal slot-loading CD-RW drive. All in all, a great package!
I'm in Edinburgh just now, but I'm sure I can have it shipped to anywhere in the UK, so please let me know if you're interested.
