I am selling a loaded PowerMac 9600 with warranty until 7/31/2002 on eBay at the following address (with TONS of pictures):
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI...tem=1232199812

Here is some of the info:
Apple Power Macintosh 9600/200

MEGA-BUNDLE with 3-Drive RAID 0, Dual Head High Performance Video and with Computer On-Site Warranty Until 7/31/2002!

THE MOST EXPANDABLE APPLE MAC EVER PRODUCED!

What's Included (everything in the pictures):

• Apple Power Macintosh 9600/200 in EXCELLENT CONDITION!!! Even the rubber feet on the bottom are still in place!
• 176MB Interleaved RAM (2-64MB, 2-16MB, 2-8MB with 6 additional RAM slots available)
• 12GB THREE DRIVE BOOTABLE RAID 0 (Striped via SoftRAID)
• Radius ThunderPower 30/1920 PCI Video Card (lifetime warranty)
• IxMicro TwinTurbo 128M4A PCI Video Card (covered as a part of the 9600's on-site warranty)
• Sonic EtherFE 10/100 Ethernet PCI Card (lifetime warranty)
• Belkin USB Bus Port PCI Card (lifetime warranty)
• IxMicro TurboTV TV Tuner/Video Capture PCI Card
• NEW Apple Pro Mouse (never used or unsealed - I opened the box, to make sure it was in good condition, but, as you can see the adhesive wrapping has not been removed)
• Alps GlidePoint ADB Trackpad This trackpad is a great item to have if you want to trouble shoot any problem with USB because ADB loads within a couple seconds of pressing the power button and will even work without a driver.
• Apple AppleDesign Keyboard
• Apple 12X CD-ROM Drive
• Apple Goodies (Rainbow Stickers, White Stickers, Rainbow Static Stickers, 3D Color Stickers, OS X Sticker Set, Think Different Balloon)
• DB-15 to HD-15 Video Adapter (if you have a non-Apple monitor you would like to use with one of the cards)
• Added SCSI internal cable
• NEW Apple PlainTalk Microphone (unopened)
• Internal Power Extension Cables (allow you to use the bottom drive mounts and swing open the case for easy access to the motherboard)
• Power Cables (One cable to go from the wall or surge protector/UPS to the 9600 & one cable to go from the back of the 9600 out to a monitor)
• Yamaha CDR-400t 4x6 CD-R with fitted 5.25" bezel (IMPORTANT: I have not been able to get the CD-R to work, but I think that it may just be that I haven't messed with it enough. I will say that the unit does respond to requests from software and has burned discs all the way through (I think I had software configuration problems). The unit has not been used much and should be ok. I am assuring you that the computer will not be DOA, but I will not certify that this burner will work (but I think you will be able to get it to).)
• Astarte Toast CD-ROM Pro 3 burning software in box
• All boxes, reciepts, and other materials for most items (see image site for pictures, if you win, you only have to take the boxes you want, so if you don't want the hard drive boxes, etc. I'll just recycle them)
• A Compact Disc (gold for reliability) containing drivers for the Radius ThunderPower 30/1920, IxMicro Turbo TV, Sonic EtherFE 10/100, and current Yamaha CDR-400t Firmware.
• Additionally, I have included freeware/shareware communications software, utilities, 360 MB of Apple software updates and more. Picture of CD contents. Note: IxMicro Twin Turbo 128M4A's driver is pre-installed as the 9600 Graphics Acceleration extension provided with Mac OS System Software and Apple provides software for the Belkin USB Bus Port PCI card.
• CompUSA On-Site Warranty on computer valid until 7/31/2002!!!
• Click here (on eBay) for picture of reciept showing you warranty purchse costing more than $500 (NOTE stock configuration under warranty)

The Hard Drive RAID

Three quick 4GB hard drives are striped across two internal SCSI busses using a program called SoftRAID. This yeilds a 12GB SUPER FAST volume. A three-drive striped array, such as
this, sends one-third of the data to each drive, providing almost 3X as fast disk accesss as with one drive! NEW MACS CANNOT BOOT FROM A STRIPED ARRAY, BUT THIS
MACHINE CAN!!! So, while people are putting fast arrays in new machines, they will not have the ability to do system related disk tasks as quickly as in a machine like this. Booting from a
striped array increases total system performance dramatically and allows you to startup more quickly than with one drive. If you want to get new drives, this of course would still work. These
drives are noted with the numbers 1, 2, and 3 below. You can see that there is an open bay and a floppy drive. Both of these bays allow you to install drives into them. You can easily remove the
floppy drive and put one or more hard drives in its spot. If you still want a floppy, you could use a USB unit.

Installed PCI Cards

Radius ThunderPower 30/1920 Video Card

Originally with a suggested retail price of $1,999. From Radius: "Radius' fastest graphics card ever offered, the ThunderPower
30/1920 graphics card, combines a variety of features including enhanced Super Resolution 1920 x 1080, and 30-bit full color graphicsat every resolution for the color publishing professional.
Radius 30-bit graphics capabilities provide the color publisher with a palette of billions of vivid colors for the most realistic on screen color representation yet. In addition the board offers, on
board QuickDraw acceleration, and true hardware pan and zoom." In fact, this card is optimized for millions of colors and even is faster in millions than in lower bit depths! This card even
works with HDTV (1080i I believe). You've just got to get your hands on a twelve inch PCI card like this. :-)

This card features a lifetime warranty (Support Contact Information). I am getting the box for this later today, if you'd like a picture let me know.

IxMicro TwinTurbo 128M4A Video Card

This card was included with the computer. It supports up to 1600x1200 resolution and 24-bit at 1280x1024 (according to Apple). The drivers for this card are included in Mac OS with the
extension "9600 Graphics Accellerator".

This card is covered under the CompUSA on-site warranty.

IxMicro TurboTV TV Tuner/Video Capture Card

This card works with ixTV software which I have included for you on the CD. I have included the orignal audio extension hardware that allows you to have audio from the card be pumped
through the CD Audio system. You may also use the included minijack to minijack cable for external connection from the card's sound out to a speaker or the sound in port.

TurboTV Description from Box, TurboTV Features from Box, and inside box contents(note, one audio cable & extender are inside the machine. Additionally the minijack to minijack cable is
included but not pictured).

Belkin USB Card

This card allows you to connect USB devices to the 9600 with dual 12Mbps ports. Full compliance with USB 1.1 specification, PCI 2.1 specification, and OHCI.

This card features a lifetime warranty. Product manual FAQ Image (from Belkin, not actual card)

Sonic EtherFE 10/100 Ethernet Card

According to Sonic: "Sonic's line of Fast Ethernet cards, the EtherFE 10/100 NuBus and PCI adaptors, feature NWay technology for easy installation and automatic configuring of the network
connection, to the highest possible speed.

NWay allows the EtherFE 10/100 cards to operate at either 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps speed from a single RJ45 jack, providing the flexibility to operate equally well in both legacy 10 Base-T and
emerging 100 Base-TX networks. Diagnostic LEDs provide status on activity, link integrity, and network speed.

Sonic EtherFE 10/100 adaptors are compatible with all popular network protocols, such as AppleTalk, TCP/IP, and Novell Netware's IPX; are fully complient with IEEE 802.3 10 Base-T and
802.3u 100 Base-TX specifications and are USA FCC and European CE certified."

This card features a lifetime warranty. I have included the box, original documentation, disks, and manuals.

One More Open PCI Slot!

About the Power Macintosh 9600

The Power Macintosh 9600 is Apple's most expandable Mac. You can see from the picture below that the 9600 is signifigantly wider and taller (deeper too by roughly 1.5 inches) than Apple's
newest and most expensive computer. This allows for maximum expansion. If you want to install a sixth card, you can install the drives in a top bay (or even just one of the 3). The 9600 has
also been shown to be able to run Mac OS X. Here are some instructions on how to do it.

6 PCI Slots (Highest number of any Apple Mac)
7 Drive Bays (Highest number of any Apple Mac)
12 RAM Slots (Most number of any Apple Mac)
390Watt Power Supply (Biggest power supply of any Apple Mac)
Enormous "K2" Case (Biggest of any Apple Mac)
Case allows you to flip unit open to get to the motherboard and drives easily
64-bit, 50MHz Bus
Dual SCSI Busses
12X CD-ROM drive and floppy drive
ADB Port, AAUI & 10baseT on board Ethernet ports (Third-Party 10/100 card also installed)
No need to worry about investment, a Kensington security cable slot and a slot for locking the case closed (NOTE: The Masterlock padlock in the picture is not included in this sale)
are both a part of the machine
Upgradeable to single or dual-processor G4 or G3
