I bet you get a max of $1400.

Airport is still the same since the update, so that's 300 + 100 = 400.
Then, since you're iBook has the same specs or less as the new one's, you'll never get more than the minimum price for a comparably-featured new model, minus a few hundred for the fact that yours is heavier, bigger, older, and not as cool, so that's 1400 - 400 = 1000.

So 1000 + 400 = 1400$, and I hope you've enjoyed using a computer for 3 months for $1000.

PS - I hope you get more, and post here if you do. Nothing pleases me more than looking like a moron.

PPS - why'd'you need a wintel?

I need certain apps I use at work and do not exist on Mac platform. As such there's only so many $$$ arounf - therefore the sale.

I'm hoping that someone will still want the version I have since it is quite different - very durable and unique!

I used a PB4 for sometime and would prefer the previous one if given a choice...

Thanks for the reply though

Have you considered VirtualPC, or maybe a new job?
Anything must be better than getting rid of life's great pleasures and having to lose money on the rotten deal!

Please, please... enough about losing money it's quite depressing... I need to make the switch - I'm using alot of software development software that needs the native environment for debugging.

just quit man. No job is worth betraying macintoshes over. It's just not worth it. Besides how great can it be when you are debugging software for windows anyway. Don't sell out. You need to put your foot down at this point and tell yer boss that this software should be developed for the mac and you are the guy to do it. Solve's all your problems and if your boss doesn't like it then tell her/him to shove-it!

Moving this to the Buy/Sell forum.

I'll offer $1200 for it, though you'll probably want to settle for something more...

Come on guys... this stuff is brand new - I take extremely good care of my equipment. I understand that the new iBook is coming but this design is quite durable and runs the INCLUDED Mac OSX quite well. Also I have Adobe Type Manager Deluxe and Adobe Framemaker 6.0 that can be included.

Don't forget that the Base Station and Airport card is the same for all systems - and BTW it rocks!
