just wondering if you guys could send me some quotes on what you would pay for my iMac...
it was originally an iMac Rev b with normal stats... but I've upgraded it to be this:

300mhz G3 (overclocked)
3dfx Voodoo 2 (8mb for 3d)
6MB Rage pro (for 2d)
internal 4x, 4x, 24x CD-RW drive
192mb RAM
30GB hard disk (7200 rpm)

please send quotes to:
john@pendulumdigital.com
as well as discussion on what you think is reasonable pricing below, because I really wanna sell it to get a new iBook

1 Question:

How did you get an internal CDRW into a 1st generation iMac?
What kind of CDRW would possibly fit into the machine?

I started off buying the Techworks CD-r drive... which was a Sony CRX510e, which was inferior, because it only supported CD-r's, so I got a Philips CDD4401 (which now seems to be an IDE drive, although I bought an ATA version which worked fine?), and... ya, it fitted in perfectly, just like the sony one did, all I had to do was use the instructions which Techworks gave me + add on Techworks' CD cover (which is basically a piece of plastic u put oon the front to make it look like an iMac)
