I've finally decided that I want an iBook. I gave up my 2400 2 months ago for a Pismo, right after Apple launched the TiBook, as it seemed like they were never going to give us another subnote. Now that I've seen the iBook, I realize that it is much more of what I want out of a computer than is my Pismo. I'm gonna need to sell this to get the iBook though, and I don't think it's worth it to lose money on the deal. I got this book in March for $1650. It is in just about perfect shape. There are 2 small scratches on the left handrest that I believe came from my watch band. Both are superficial scratches, not going deep at all, just surface wounds. One is about an inch long, the other is 1/4" long and is only visible in the right lighting conditions. No dead pixels in the screen, 192 megs of ram, 10 gig HD, I also have an extra powercord that I could throw in. It's one of the black boxes that Apple used to sell before going to the saucers. I keep one plugged in all the time at home & the other for when I travel, saves having to plug & unplug from the wall all the time. It is under Applecare till Feb 2002. All other specs are standard Pismo.
The iBook I'll buy is the DVD model for $1499. If I could get that out of my Pismo, I'd do the deal.
Let me know if you're interested,
