I have a full color, 32mb iPaq with a Compact Flash sleeve and a Targus Stowaway Keyboard for trade. This unit still has a warranty until August 2002. It also comes with two AC adaptors, protectice sleeve, original box and software.
I am looking for a Newton MessagePad 2100 or upgraded 2000. The screen must be very good (i.e., little to no scratches). Best case scenario: You have a good battery, an Alkaline battery adaptor, a keyboard and a case for me.
Let me know what you have, I am flexible. This is a great chance to trade in something OLD for something NEW.

Which model of iPaq do you have? What software do you use to synch with a mac? Just curious.
I'm not sure if I want to part with my newton just yet, but it sounds like a tempting offer. Tell me some more about this iPaq of yours.

Its an iPaq 3635, which is basically the same as the iPaq 3650. The only difference is the USB cradle I have is *slightly* slower. Supposedly, not even noticeable.
It has a 206mhz 32-bit StrongARM processor. 32mb RAM and 16Mb of ROM. It is full color with a BRIGHT backlight. Battery is lithium ion and lasts 12 hours.
You can play Quake on it.
It comes with a Compact Flash sleeve that I bought separately for 50 bucks and a Targus Stowaway Keyboard that folds up smaller than the unit that I purchased for 100 bucks.
You need to purchase a separate $50 program to gain Mac functionality. I don't have that. What kind of Newton do you have, the condition and what accessories come with it?
thanks for the interest,

Let see. I have a MessagePad 2000 in excellent condition. Bright backlight, no scratches. Keyboard, Case, original box, manuals and software. (it still has the original $1200.00 price tag!)
I would include these accessories that I have puchased on eBay
keyboard/serial dongle (easy to lose, I've replaced twice)
Newton Fax Modem card
3Com Etherlink III Lan PC Card plus ethernet dongle
a couple 6Mb flash memory cards
plastic bay insert ( for when you don't feeling like using heavy ram)
AC adapter
and 4 brand new shiny AA batteries.
Unfortunately, I was never able to acquire the rechargable battery pack, but since even cheap AA's will give you 6 weeks running time I don't see it as a great loss.
If your interested email me and I'll forward you some pics.
