Hey all you Mac nuts out there,

In my quest for ridiculous power and such, I was quite happy when Steve-o announced the Cinema HD display. VERY cool. In a sense, cooler than the Bluetooth support, but that's pretty neat too...

ANYway, I want this display. I work with video, so it is ABOLUTELY perfect for me.

Of course, $3500 isn't pocket change, and frankly I do not have it to spend. But, I DO have:

TWO gorgeous 5-month old 17" LCD Apple Studio Displays.

I've been using these babies 'rarely', since they've always been hooked to my media workstation - and since I only use it a litle bit every week, these panels are in BRAND spankin' new condition. Not a scratch, blemish, nor DEAD PIXEL (I didn't see any when running it through tests!) They look like I just took them out of their boxes.

Now, pricing. Apple sells 'em for $999. You can get a DEMO one (blech!) from Smalldog for $830. But like I said, these are in perfect, NEW condition.

So, I would LIKE to get $900 for each - I've got a PCI Radeon and a Dr. Bott DVIator free of charge for the first serious buyer to offer what I'm asking. (of course, I'm more than happy to entertain any serious offer!)

If you live in or around New York City, all the better since we can both save shipping hassles! Of course I have no problem wrapping them up and shipping them within the US. If FedEx Ground or UPS Ground is cool with you, I could even cover the shipping.

Feel free to e-mail me at: lemur@nyc.rr.com

This doesn't seem like a very good deal. $900 each for used LCD's that could be in any condition. If you buy from apple, you spend $100 more, also get free shipping to wherever you live, and you get a warranty, so when it does arrive with dead pixels, you can send it back (also for free) and get it fixed. $600 or $700 each sounds reasonable. Not interested my self though.

I'd be interested, but not at the price you suggested. Max I would spend would be $1400 for everything you mentioned, shipped--that would actually be a good deal.
Am I still here?

Jay,

Thanks for the offer - I would have agreed if I still had them, but I sold them a few days ago.

Sorry, and thanks!

$850 each, plus a PCI Radeon and DVIator, to someone in NYC - he got to come see them in person before buying.

*punches justin right where it hurts*

where do you get all that money?! (prepares a resume)

Geez, to have $3500 may not be pocket change, but IMO it's more like breaking the bank. I wish I could get a 23" but my 22" is just fine for an obselete LCD.
