I have a tangerine iBook with a broken keycap. The keyboard actually works fine, but the plastic shell that snaps onto the keyboard is broken. The apple folks tell me that they can't just sell me a keycap, they have to sell me a whole keyboard. It isn't worth the hassel or price to go through apple for this, so I thought I'd see if someone has a broken keyboard laying around....

They'll sell you the individual keycap you need, a broken ibook keyboard complete, or a fully functional one. Give them an email, if you have any questions.

Thanks. They want $2.00. Much more reasonable that he $50 service fee and $150 replacement keyboard that Apple wanted to send.

Hopefully it will be here on Monday.
