I don't even care if it's just a CD-ROM. I'd prefer something from a 300MHz clamshell so I don't have to glue the bezel on, but at this point I just want something that works. I broke my extra clam's CD-ROM when I was installing OS X, and I want to replace it to avoid killing the resale value any more than I already have.

I'm looking for super duper cheap - like $10 shipped to 47907.
For all the trash I talk, I sure own a lot of Macs...

I have a combo drive pulled from a mac mini don't know if it will work or not on your clamshell. LMK if you are interested.

It would probably work, but a slot-loader isn't what I want. It needs to be a tray-loading drive.
For all the trash I talk, I sure own a lot of Macs...
