Hi all! I'm fairly new to these forums so be easy on me...lol! I'm an I.T. manager for an ad agency and I've just been told that we're upgrading all of or MAC equipment. So, we have a few systems that we are going to try and sell to see what we can get for them...if anything at all. Here are the specifics:

Here's the scoop: (and bear with me...I'm a 'PC' guy FORCED to work with MACS! lol)

You have a choice of 2 systems... (pictures attached)

A (beige) G3 (300mhz) with an 8 gig H/D and 320 megs of ram (w/17" Apple monitor if ya need it)..internal ZIP...AND...external Jaz drive

OR....

A (modified) 8500 with G3 upgrade chip (runs at 445mhz) also has an 8 gig H/D and 320 megs of ram...same monitor...external JAZ only

In addition, we have a few REALLY older systems...lol....such as a 'regular' 8500 (120 mhz)....a 7100....and 3 6100's. But I doubt I'll be able to do anything with those.

Also... as I write this... my boss said whoever decides to buy it ...he will also throw in his PC laptop...NOW...granted it's old...(Pentium 166)....but it IS still very functional....and YES can even surf the net. But nevermind that now...I'll exlpain more about that if there is serious interest in the Mac stuff. I hope that gives ya a good idea on what we have. I haven't yet set a price..simply because I'm not sure yet what to price it..(still researching)...but if you give me an idea of your budget and what your needs are...perhaps that could help me better to set a price!

If interested...email me at buddasahn@hotmail.com

The upgraded 8500 maybe $125

and the older machines <$100 with the exception of the 8500 which would still be worth around 100.

I'm interested in the pc laptop, but would like more specs, please. like monitor size, RAM, HD, etc. Is there cd-rom, floppy, what version of windows? thanks!

I picked up an old thinkpad running win95, 16 MB RAM, <1 gig HD, and a small screen for $20 in May. Needless to say, I think yours might be worth a bit more.

I just stumbled across this..._I know it’s been about a year, but by some strange chance, do you still have these? I might be interested in the 8500, in particular.
