I have a Beige PowerMac, and over the yeras I've upgraded it with:

NewerTech 500 Mhz G3 - $300
576 Megs of RAM ~ $100
USB/Firewire Card - $80
Maxtore 7200rpm 40Gig hard drive - $140
OS X - $70 (edu. price)

floppy drive doesn't work consistently anymore, but who needs it anyway

What do you guys think it's worth?

I am thinking about selling it. considering a fair market price of around $500 for the beige G3s, plus my fair amount of upgrades (about $700 worth), I think it would be fair to sell my PowerMac for around $800, given it's more powerful than the lower-end iMacs.

Other then the larger amount of RAM - its SLOWER than a low end iMac. duh

Plus your machine will always be hindered by the 66 mhz bus, can't do anything about that.

If you want to get your money out of it, gut it and sell parts. Otherwise, don't expect more than $500.
