I am selling my beloved MacBook Pro 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo, with 3GB of RAM, and three batteries. I have the original box and power cord.

This is a UK version so the keyboard has a few different symbols above the numbers, but nothing drastic. I am a photographer, so the body has seen some use. There are some scratches and scuffs on the bottom and some nicks on the lid. The Express Card slot are has some metal bowing from heat I think. This certainly isn't a beauty queen, but it still works flawlessly, the screen is in perfect working order.

I would like to get about $700 to put towards a newer version.

Let me know if you want any pictures.

Joe

Core Duo MacBook Pros can address 3 GIGs of RAM? I thought the limit was 2 GB due to the 32-bit chip architecture. Is the 3 GIGS a typo?

Core duo machines can only support up to 2GB,for optimum results it's recommended you install 2 x 1 modules ( matched pair ) if you tried installing 2 x 2 it wont boot

Could be a C2D machine and was merely a typo on the OP part. There was a 2.16GHz MBPro C2D and those could hold 3GB RAM.
