Hi there,

Im in NYC and currently looking for buyers for some Powerbooks. Im new to this city/country, just moved here a month ago from Europe together with 3 coworkers. Where do we sell them? Ebay's not an option....Where can we place ads? Is there a site which features buy/sell (except for macnn's)? Should I look in regular newspapers?

Would appreciate any kind of help, obviously they'll appear in this thread but not right now. As im missing a couple of specifications of one of my friend's 'book.

Thank you

Why can't you sell it off ebay?

There's also http://www.macauction.com

Or other forums like: http://forums.anandtech.com/categori...amp;zb=8603868

I have had bad experiences with ebay and I wish to finish the deal(s) in a couple of days. Cannot afford to wait... ebay autions take forever if I want the price point at a reasonable level.

Your best option right now is to list the specs and price in this thread before it loses interest.

WARNING!

DO NOT USE MACBID!

I used them to list items. They made a mistake and refused to pull ad or correct it.! I sent 65 emails and actually opened 2 additional ad next to the ongoing auction titled "DO NOT BID ON ITEM" and they still refused to respond except when Auction ended, they sent email asking to renew my auction " DO NOT BID ON ITEM" since it didn't sell!

They obviously don't care and it must be run on a totally automatic system. If you are interested in the facts contact me.
