In the process of attempting to paint my powerbook, I appeared to have broken some plastic edges on the bottom case so I can't get it reassembled properly. I ordered new plastics for my machine, but that leaves me with left overs.
I have the entire bottom case assembly for sale if anybody is interested. The bottom is scratched up and missing the original "feet", but still has the new and more sturdier ones I replaced them with. The trackpad still works perfectly fine, but there is a missing IR port cover on it and the little bouncy plastic window next to the right expansion bay fell off. The case is the original color of the machine (no paint).
Oh yeah, and the speakers are still happily in tact! A $29 dollar value on its own (according to pbparts.com)
Note - I still have much of the plastic stuff and expansion bay plastic that came off, I just have no patience to fix it right now. Especially with a new iMacG4/800 on the way.
$25 for each part, $40 for both. Plus shipping.
E-mail me if interested.
