This is my first post in MacNN, although I do post regularly at AI.

I have a brand-new, unopened PowerBook to sell:

550 MHz G4
256 MB RAM (I will also give you another 128 MB RAM module, but I don't want to open the box to do it).
30 GB Hard Drive
Combo Drive (DVD/CD-R/W)

This is a replacement product for an old powerbook I had. I had to get an iBook in the meantime, and like a Jackass I got the Applecare plan for my iBook, which means that it would be a total waste to sell the iBook since nobody would cough up the extra dough for Applecare.

So now I'm selling this PowerBook.

This lists at the AppleStore for $2399 before taxes and shipping.

I am selling at $2300 and I will ship it to you!

I would love to keep both computers, but I need the dough for plane tickets for graduate school interviews!

I think I read somewhere that you can sell your remaining Applecare warranty for a pro-rated refund. Some Ebay bidders also look at warranties as big benefits.
