I don't think anyone's going to pay that price. You can buy the new imac for just $200 more.

That's actually a great price. Hopefully the reserve isn't much higher than what it's set at now.

That isn't a bad price. If he parted them out and sold the Cube and monitor separately he could probably get more. Used and refurb Cubes by themselves still go for upwards of $1000.

Hmm. you're certainly entitled to your opinion, but the Cube has some oft-ignored features.

People would say the new iMac would be cheaper, but the Cube is somewhat more expandable; see:

(Add dual-procs, radeon or geforce cards, 3 DIMM slots vs. 2.; and no fan.)

If you don't want it, don't buy it.

I personally think for those inclined, a Cube is going to be slightly more collectible, has great aesthetic value; it will be more relevant once the new iMac goes into full-swing production, and there are millions made in the next few years. The Cube will fit certain people's needs.
