I am planning on getting a new iMac, but I have one hurdle in my way. I need to get rid of my PC.

I am asking 600 for it. Here are the specs:

AMD 1.2 GHz (266 FSB)
Epox EP-8kta3 motherboard (ATA 100, 4 USB, Audio)
512 MB Crucial PC133
Leadtek GeForce 2 Pro w/ 64 MB DDR
Promise/Maxtor Ultra 100 Controller w/ Hardware RAID Hack
Dual Maxtor 20 GB Drives
10x DVD
HP 8x4x32 Burner (HP9100B)
SoundBlaster live!
Logitech Quickcam Express web cam
Windows 2000 Pro w/ Original CD & Serial #
3Com 3c905 10/100 NIC
Logitech Wheel Mouse
15" Samsung Monitor
HP 5L LaserJet Printer

Buyer will pay actual shipping costs.

please email ribitch@cps.cmich.edu if interested. I am an ebay user (username: metfoo) if you would like references

I'm not interested, but I can offer my $.02. First, lower the price. If you look on ebay, you can get an Athlon XP, RAM, mobo, case, burner, etc for around $350-400. Not to be mean, but very few people on a Mac forum would want to buy a PC....of course, that's just my opinion...I could be wrong.

I have seen the light for awhile. I am actually an Apple employee that uses both platforms. Lately my PC just sits there, so I maight as well sell it and apply that money towards a new iMac.

Iam also a full time student, so any money that I can apply towards a new sysstem will be a great help, so thats why the winbloz MUST go.

DO NOT LOWER THE PRICE!!!

That machine is decked out, and still an EXCELLENT machine.

I just sold my PC system a month ago to a friend to help pay for this iBook.

Antec Full Tower Case
FIC Mother Board
800MHz AMD Duron Processor
40GB 5400 RPM Western Digital HD
224MB of PC-100 SDRAM
17" Phillips CRT monitor
$50 pair of Altec speakers with Sub
52x CD-ROM
56k Modem
32MB-DDR GeForce 2MX
Windows 98 Second Edition
Mouse, Keyboard

Sold it all to him for $600.

The price you are asking is extremely cheap.

I dont plan on lowering it. The system is very quick. The systems on ebay are usually crap. I am a student, so if I cant sell it on a forums like this one, hopefully a student will pick it up.

I have posted this on several boards and this one seems to have sparked the most attention
