Hello all:

I have for sale one iBook in excellent condition. I need to sell the unit as I have recently lost my job and have a G4 as well, so I don't really need the iBook. Details are as follows:

�500 MHz (Late 2001 model) 12.1" LCD iBook
�DVD-ROM
�15 GB HD
�256MB RAM (128 MB + 128 MB installed by Apple)
�OS X 10.1.2 and OS 9.2.2
�Brenthaven Mobility 1 Case for iBook
�Apple A/V Cable
�All original packaging, manuals, and CDs.
�Balance of 90-day Apple technical support (exp. 5/2/2002) w/ option to purchase AppleCare.

The unit is in excellent condition and was purchased new in February 2002; I am the original owner. It has only seen minimal local travel and has only been used for about 50 hours maximum. Before shipping, I will re-initialize and zero the hard drive and run the four-disc restore so you receive it as it was out of the box.

I live in Northern California (central valley) and if you live here or in the Bay Area, I would be willing to meet you in person to finalize a sale. Otherwise, shipping will be UPS Ground or Air (your choice) to U.S. only and buyer will pay the actual cost.

I am asking $1125 for the iBook and case; other reasonable offers will be considered. My total investment in the unit is over $1500 (including tax). This unit is still for sale. The price has now been reduced to $1050 obo, in line with what you would see a good eBay Auction end at (if not lower).

A couple of notes :

� PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND if you have NO INTENTION of purchasing this iBook.
� PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND with ridiculous offers; i.e., $600 for this unit.
� PLEASE FOLLOW THROUGH if you intend to purchase this unit. The reason it is still for sale now is that several prospective purchasers have not followed through on their plans to purchase the unit.
