I have Adobe Photoshop 5.0 LE, which has been fine for an amateur like me. Now, however, I want some of the features lacking in the LE version. Judging by the comments on Photoshop 6.0 it seems like v. 5.5 is the one I want. Rather than go to eBay I thought the faithful MacNN members might like the chance to sell a copy. I definitely want the liscense and the ability to register the software with Adobe.

You might consider purchasing an earlier version (2 or 3 or 4) of the program off of ebay. There are a couple there today (saturday) offering the change of registration and selling for less than 50 bucks. Then you can buy the latest upgrade to version 6.0 for about $170.00.

If you try to buy 5.5 from someone, you will pay close to full price.
