I might be interested in the FPM RAM and the Diamond Voodoo card. Do you have any more info about the Voodoo card? Links, etc? Thanks...
Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?

malvolio: I've read that the pin configuration on the ZIFs (Beige G3 or newer) are not compatible with the socket on the 6300 and machines of similar build. However, I don't know that from first hand experience.

Sorry I can't be of any more assitance than that However, you might try xlr8yourmac for the answer...

Malson: sorry about that...I didn't mean for my general response to be so cold...I apologize. Also, I posted this same list of stuff on macgurus.com...someone from there contacted me about 5 minutes after I posted, asking for the exact same things you did...sorry about that

PowerMacMan: I honestly don't see why you wouldn't be able to use either board in a PowerComputing clone. I know they all have the same pin config/layout and I'm almost positive that only the Mach5 boards had a different voltage and cache speed making them incompatible with anything but 300 and 350Mhz x600 series machines. In fact, I tried the opposite once (PowerComputing 250Mhz board in a 9600) and it worked just fine.

PowerMacMan: Either of the 604 cards would likely work without a hitch in your clone...the G3 ZIF should also work flawlessly, but you'd have to spring for a ZIF carrier card before you could actually use it (xlr8 makes them...check OWC at www.macsales.com). If you have any other questions, please let me know. I'd be more than happy to answer them for you
