looking for an older scsi 2X write cd-r. Time for you to sell that old slow burner and upgrade to a new faster one.

Thanks.

I've got two older SCSI burners for sale:

1. Philips Omniwriter 2x2x6 - It's a great burner and has burnt roughly three coasters in a period of two years...and those were mostly my fault. It re/writes and erases CDRW discs just fine.

2. JVC (don't know model) 2x8 - This one is great too, though I've only used it a few times. It burns reliably and reads surprisingly fast.

I'm using Toast 4.0 with both units (I'm also running CD-ROM Tool Kit 3.0 on the JVC without problems)...the Philips is currently in a 9600 and the JVC is installed in a PowerTower. Both are in excellent physical and operational shape.

I'm willing to discuss pricing...but according to going prices on eBay, the JVC would run roughly $50-60 and the Philips would be closer to $85-90.

If you're interested, please let me know. My address is gripley@thecreek.com

You can always buy a case to put the internal drive in. They go for really cheap on e-bay ($10-$20).

I have an internal 4x burner, works great.
My mac died recently, so I need to sell the burner. Offer a fair price, and we can talk

Mike

Eccent,

That sounds like a good deal. I'm very interested, but could you tell me the difference between the regular scsi and the scsi "narrow" that you described? Are you including the scsi cable as well? (I'm assuming the power cord is included).

Thanks,

Walker
