yes i realize i would be loosing somthing that is definitively sine, but due to my studentiness, i am poor and need money. so i am selling my newton, along with all my newton accessories. here's what i have:
- uMP2100, screen is nearly perfect, unit is even modified with audio out port (headphones)
- MP2000 in parts, a donor for the screen just in case
- THREE 6MB linear flash cards (intel, almost new)
- one 4MB linear flash card
- ethernet card and cable
- 56k Modem (xjack)
- rechargable NiMh battery
- 4AA battery sled
- a genuine apple aluminum stylus (with the newt logo on the butt, and with new modified tip)
- a heavy brass pda panache stylus (also with moded tip)
- original mp2000 box, and printed manuals (very rare find)
- all the software you could ever want, burned on cd
- stack of genuine apple mp2000 pamphlets (pure coolness)
- everything aready setup on newt.... tonnes of software. (everything from barkeep to waba)

its a whole frikkin system folks, all up for sale. i really really dont want to let this go but i hope it can make someone else really happy.
the newton (fully working one) is scuffed from normal use, and a (superficial) plastic tab missing, but otherwise is fine. ive treated it with very much care, and has served me very very very well.
im in toronto, canada and will ship pretty much anywhere...
so far the price is not set, and i am taking offers. please email me if you are interested, at macspower@sympatico.ca

As a recent graduate I can certainly relate to your financial turmoil, however I have no need for another Newton. But I was wondering if you might be able to part with a copy of that software CD? Would $20 be fair compensation for your efforts?

was wondering if you would consider breaking up your sale in that I need a new case for a Newton 2000/

Let me know what you think and what it might be worth to you

I'm lurking here, but can't afford a new Newton right now. Have to have money for the holidays, GameCube and X box stuff.
Its time for Apple to release a new PDA, but until it does, long live the Newton!

AppleInsider poster since 1998.
