I'll give you 50 bucks. $200, forget it. Are you high? It's almost that much new. If you shop around at Best Buy or Future shop you're sure to get it for less than the MSRP of 249. And you'll get a warantee. Bottom line, don't pay more than $150 for an outdated Nomad, if you really want to pay more, at least get it new (with a warantee.) or better yet wait until after christmas, when it'll cost about 175 new.

Hey I bought it at Best Buy 3 weeks ago. The Creative Warranty is still valid. How can you say this is outdated when it is still being sold. I am willing to lose $100 (30%) for 3 weeks of use. It comes with the car charger as well.
Your comment is totally baseless.

Why you buying an iPod if the Nomad is so up to date?
Granted the Nomad is cheaper, but it is MSRP $249, you'll find it for less than that if you try. After x-mas it'll drop further still. Car charger? Who cares? Electronics depreciate fast, and with a very weak retail season approaching discounts will materialize. Now is not the time to buy other people's used merchandise unless the discount is severe.
50 bucks off a used Nomad is not a dramatic savings. Just hit a few small shops with a copy of the best buy price in your hand, at least a handfull will beat bestbuy by 20 bucks just to get the sale. Margins are thin this year folks, take advantage.
