Essentially new! Yes I opened the box and used it a whole 2 times! Once for a grade school basket ball game and the other to tape my saltwater fish using the nightshot! I'm selling this because I want an iBook to complement my iMac. Too bad because this camcorder has firewire and my new iMac does too.. But I just don't use the camera enough. This is a 1999 model.
