How does one actually turn this option to 'No"?
FWIW Repeated attempts to set it to 'no' in User Center|Edit Options leaves it set to 'Yes'.

But don't turn it off for everyone because I and I'm sure most people prefer it this way.

FWIW this seems to be a 'display' bug. Even though it still shows 'yes' I am not receiving the Email notifications anymore

Most? Your kidding right? The tens/hundreds of thousands of members prefer it? Yeah.. I -looove- 30 e-mails a day! Now if it would send 1 e-mail per thread per day I may want it.. Like "The thread you responded to has received 5 posts today."

Right now Email Notification by Default has been forced to no, even if you check it yes, because I still haven't been able to find where I can change the default variable. The default setting will be NOT to check notification by default.
