(1) The "First unread post" feature is nice, but you have to wait for the thread to load before using it. I think it would be a lot more useful if it were on the front page - perhaps an extra column with a button next to each thread. That way you could go straight from the front page to the "first unread post". I think this would be even more useful than the "Last post by" feature. Both on the front page would be nice.
(2) It would be nice if the posts in a given thread were numbered. Just another way to keep track of things, especially if you want to re-read or refer to a specific post.
(3) I'm not sure about the thread rating thing. I suspect that it will be used so arbitrarily that it cause more confusion than clarity.
Thanks for the effort.

1) On the main forum page, we still get to see when the last post in a given forum occurred, but we don't know what thread it was posted in. Is there any way to get that feature back?
2) I really liked it a few upgrades ago when you made it so that all of the pages in a thread were listed right next to the title so that we could go directly to page x in a thread instead of first having to go to page 1 and then go to page x. I miss that feature, too...

Yes, we're going to get the thread links on the main page back, but we have to wait until the hack that does it is fully certified for this version of vBulletin. It'll totally screw things up otherwise. I think it's the only feature we use that's not included with vB.
Yes, we're going to get the direct page links in the thread listing back.
Interesting idea to have first unread post in the main listing; I think an icon would make that possible, because I don't think we have enough space for another column (some people are still viewing this on 12" iBooks at 800x600, after all). I'll look into it.
Post numbering is probably not going to work out.
I've disabled thread rating for now until I can figure out how it works. So far my impression is that it doesn't even show up as a number until there are a certain number of votes.

Just to be clear, by this I meant having a "First unread post" link (for each thread) on the page that lists all the threads in a given forum, not on the page that lists the various forums, although that would be fine too.
FWIW, I've never used the "Last post" link on the page that lists the forums - I almost always use the forum jump to go to the individual forum page to see which threads interest me.

Yes, that's right. On another board I go to, it's 10 posts, but I think it can change.
