ack! the forums died last night as i was posting. anyway, yes pms were off, but i turned them back on last night. and today it appears the PM button has been put back in it's old space above every post.

i'm not seeing any problem with those graphics. i've just used the "reply with quote" one no problem, the links from the others all look fine as well.
as for old pms from ubb, it seems they were victims of the upgrade (along with the Networking forum). the appropriate people are being notified; hopefully they should be recovered in the next few days.
