I think many would agree that the column widths are improper. The biggest problem, IMO, is that the topic column is too small. One reason for this is the space occupied by views. While I like the views feature, it's not essential; if it were a question between a wider topic column and the views information, I would choose the former. However, I believe I have a solution. Instead of spelling out x views for every thread, why not make views a separate column? In other words, have a separate column after Replies named Views, and then simply list the number of views. I believe a good amount of space would be saved with that format. Just a thought. And I may as well post a poll on the subject.
