i'd like to report abuse of the member-messaging system by user "m.j.". i was private messaged about ebooks (i didn't keep the message, many others have it i'm sure). I replied with -
"how many members did you message? what gave you the idea I might know where to pirate ebooks? buy them at adobe.com"
he has emailed me twice, with the message -
"i asked alot of people and i don't have any idea if you have an information about the ebooks and also one thing i asked you about os 7, 8 ,9 ,10 ebooks for MAC so, what the **** is adobe.com got to do with it , i don't see any relation between (adobe) and ebooks about macos. and flashscripting pluse director ebooks wich these programes belong to macromedia, so that makes you for sure that you have an information about where to get them , WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP YES OR NO?"
i don't appreciate getting emails from users I don't know, swearing at me, and asking for copyrighted material. ebooks is a copyright of adobe (ebooks.adobe.com), and individual ebooks are copyright by their authors.
unsolicited mass messaging is spam. if i knew about what he wanted, i would have posted in a forum thread. my email is no longer available to users, and private messaging is now turned off.
