what's the minimum word length in search?

All right I am trying to make a search about error 1 when starting classic and the search engine returns me his error see below.

The search term you specified (1) is under the minimum word length (2) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer.

If this term contains a wildcard, please make this term more specific.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

when searching enter a term that has at least 2 characters.

Well I did enter the word error in the search amongst other.... I am confused. I tried that on different browsers too. Even on a PC... Got the same result.
